- It took me a while to fall asleep last night, so even though I woke up at a decent time this morning, I waited as long as I could until getting out of bed. Actually, Whitman woke me up this morning-or at least I thought it was him.
- I heard a pretty loud kerplunk which woke me up and made me think that he had fallen down the stairs. He is the early morning riser. I laid in bed for a while, but eventually I started to wonder if he was laying at the bottom of the steps so I went to check on him. He was curled up on the couch and had no idea what I was talking about. I should have gotten up then, but I ran back to the bed for a little bit longer.
- We then started on our school work. Whitman likes Mondays the best because he has 8 pages of math and can pick the easiest ones to do. Of course this method just saves the hard stuff for the end of the week, but today at least he was pleased that he had finished early.
- Once the kids kind of finished up, I started on a few of my chores. For lunch, I worked on my final Camp Geyer recipe-empanadas. I have made everything, taken notes, and worked on a list of ingredients needed. I still have to tweak some things, but I do have until June so I guess I have plenty of time. Even though I made those empanadas-Graham and Robby were the only ones who even tried them.
- This afternoon Reagan and Graham went to work, Whitman and I did spelling, Keaton made cake pops, and I took Bentley on a walk. When Graham and Reagan came home, all the kids but Reagan played football outside. That ended when Anderson sprained his ankle. Ugh, I don't think it is as bad as last time, but his last basketball game is tomorrow so I doubt that he will be playing in that.
- Robby made chicken pitas for supper tonight. After we ate, many of us had free milkshakes on our ChickFilA ap so we ran there and picked up tonight's dessert for everyone. Now, I'm back on the couch and am going to read for a little bit before bedtime.
