Christmas Ornament Countdown 2019: 16 Days until Christmas

The Laura Ingalls Wilder Historic Home and Farm in Mansfield had been on my list of places to see for a very long time. This July 4th, we drove there to see it. I was beyond excited, and it was worth the wait. Of course, it made me want to go back to De Smett to see more of Laura's homes along with re-reading all of the books.

Since then though we haven't made it back to South Dakota nor have I started re-reading the books. The ornament is not huge, but it will help us remember our quick trip back into Laura's life. Here are the pictures from that day's visit.
