Today's ornament is appropriate as we remember today's 76th anniversary of the Pearl Harbor attack.This summer, we read 3 or 4 books about Pearl Harbor so in August when we were there, the kids knew all about it-and I did too. It was hot, hot that day but the theater with the film was cool. I might possibly have fallen asleep during the film-remember, I did read all of those books so I knew it all! (ha)
The kids were pretty impressed with everything on the little boat ride over there and then back. We were able to see the oil bubbling up from the U.S.S. Missouri. It was a pretty memorable day.
