- Our big excitement this morning was when Robby tried to cook cinnamon rolls for breakfast. After waiting for the oven to preheat, he went to put them in and found that the oven was not the least bit warm. Thankfully we had the toaster oven for him to throw the cinnamon rolls in. Soon the kids were dressed and eating cinnamon rolls and Robby and I were left looking in the oven trying to decide how worried we should be.
- We made it to church and had time to see the grands before heading off to our Sunday school classes. My class went around a few times telling what we were thankful for and it was pretty interesting hearing some of the third graders' thoughts.
- Lunch was at Nonna's house and she had Reagan's favorite meat which hopefully made up for her not so favorite meat (meatloaf) from Friday night. The kids had a few minutes to play while Nonna and I looked at their Christmas lists. Then it was home for a few minutes.
- Robby took the heating element off of the stove so Grandpa could test it (it worked which isn't what we wanted to hear) I think that I could have had time for a nap but since Robby wasn't snoozing, I stayed up too.
- Tonight was the Thanksgiving meal at church. The kids all had plates and they all ate only their rolls! Campbell did eat a few green beans and Anderson did eat some pumpkin pie. They were all anxious to get inside the sanctuary to hear the music. Campbell and Graham ended up sitting with Nonna and Pops, Anderson sat with Grannymom and Grandpa and the others sat with us. Whitman lasted for all of the singing and a tiny bit of the talking. Then he tried to run down the aisle towards Grannymom and Grandpa. I grabbed him and out he went to his class for the rest of the time.
- Once at home tonight, the kids had their ice cream truck and then we even had a bit of time to watch a movie before bedtime.
