- Some nights we sleep better around here than others and last night was not a sleep well night. Poor Keaton coughed and coughed and coughed. Robby finally went upstairs and brought her down to our room where she coughed and coughed and coughed. The last thing I remembered from last night was us laying there talking about me sitting in the chair with her for the rest of the night. I guess soon after that she stopped coughing and we all fell asleep.
- We did at least feel rested this morning and everyone was dressed and ready in time to eat their pop tarts before heading to Bible study. The big news from Bible study is that Whitman's class is going to take part in the Christmas music-that will be a hoot!
- Originally the girls and I were going to go pick pecans this afternoon but the rain scared us off so we went to Grannymom's house for lunch instead. Grannymom said that we could brave the rain so that we did. Our pecan picking was quite fun and at a beautiful spot. We did have to work hard on finding those pecans but we did come home with 2 pounds and didn't end up too wet so everyone was pleased. We did have one short crisis-when Whitman lost his shoe and I spent about 5 minutes searching for it on the 40 acres of land!
- Back at home, my people were tired, tired but most of them still ended up working on their scrap books during movie time. I was barely able to get anything accomplished this afternoon before it was supper time for us all.
- Right after supper, we loaded up and headed to church. When we pulled into the parking lot, I told the big kids that we were late and they needed to hurry but when I later looked at my watch, I realized that I had not been looking at the clock in the car but the counter on the cd player. Oh, well-they arrived early!
- Once at home tonight, everyone showered and then a quick snack before bedtime. And I can already tell that tonight will not be a sleep well night either. Keaton is already in our room coughing away tonight. Zyrtec, Anderson's breather, vapor rub and a bottle of water doesn't yet seem to be helping her. Hopefully, she will go on to sleep so we can all rest.
