Always a little crazy around here... |
- Of course we had lofty hopes that the kids would sleep until 7 even though it was time change Sunday. As you can imagine, that didn't happen. Robby did let them come down around 6:30 and they laid semi quietly around our room.
- Whitman had already been up around 3 in the morning. His clothes were wet-probably from the size 1 diapers that I have been squeezing him in. Seriously, I am determined to not waste a single one of those diapers though maybe tonight I will put him in a more appropriate size. After a diaper and some milk he was back to sleep-and so were we.
- Everyone enjoyed pancakes and sausage for breakfast and then it was time to get ready. While I was combing Campbell's hair, she said "I think I am going to be the prettiest girl in my class." Of course I told her that I knew she was going to the prettiest girl in my class.
- Church was fine-the boys and now even Reagan ask me frequently "is he almost done?" talking about the preacher. I try to stare them down in that evil you know you shouldn't be asking that stare but that doesn't really seem to be working because those questions keep coming.
- After church, we had lunch at Grannymom's house. Before we left for church, I ran through the house gathering the kids clothes to change out of their Sunday clothes and then to put on for church tonight. Well, after lunch they all went outside for just a bit and came back in incredible stinky. Robby said that needed showers and new clothes-I just suggested fabreezing them. But by the time we made it home, everyone was still stinky so we quickly just washed their clothes and they put on pjs after pajamas.
- Most everyone had a short, very short nap before we went back to church for choir. Campbell was the lucky kid to get a cookie tonight-we sent Keaton to class because she threw a huge fit last week after leaving us since she wasn't used to that routine. And then Campbell had to go to class tonight because of her behavior in big church last week as well. I am sure that she probably enjoyed her class more than church though.
- Before we left church, they had a reception for someone or another so we went upstairs to partake. We made the fruit, chex mix and cookies our supper. At home it was quickly bed time for the kids. Surprisingly, Keaton went to bed with the others and was quiet (well at least she has been so far!)
