Off with Nonna & Pops for the night! |
- It was work day around here-Mom started last night working on the big room and summer clothing switchover. Everything had to come out of both rooms and winter clothes had to be switched over for summer clothes.
- Nonna came over to hang out for a few minutes while Mom and Campbell ran to her 15 month check up. Campbell weighted 28 pounds and 2 ounces and was 32 and 3/4 inches tall. She was in the 90+ percentile for weight (no surprise), height (surprise) and head circumference (no surprise at all)
- She even had 3 shots and was none to pleased about them at all. But as soon as Mom picked her up and handed her her paci, she stopped fussing and only whimpered.
- Back at home, Mom got back to work and let the kids destroy the house. When the screaming got to be too much, she turned on a movie and put Campbell to bed. Mom did take a break for lunch with the kids and then Grannymom and Grandpa came over to see everyone
- Oh, did I mention while Mom was trying to wash the daily laundry plus all of the bedding for the kids, the washer stopped working. Nonna was sent home with a few loads of bedding and probably tomorrow, Mom will have to make a run to Grannymom’s house to use her washer.
- After Grannymom left, everyone was put down for naps. Campbell had to have 2 cups of milk to calm down and Graham was going strong. He was so excited about going to spend the night at Nonna and Pops house. Finally, Mom let everyone get up. Mom thought she would have been further along but the house looked worse than this morning.
- Soon Nonna and Pops were over and told the kids that they were going to get to go to the circus. They were so excited and Reagan was already asking about what they would get there. Since the tickets were free, or maybe since it was very noisy or maybe since no one had had a nap, they left after intermission.
- No one seemed to mind since they came home and had ice cream sundaes! Meanwhile, Campbell hung out with Mom and Dad. She is a mess and thinks she is big time stuff.
- We went to eat and she was as happy as she could be holding Dad's coke cup and taking the straw in and out. Robby looked at the bottom of his cup and soon we caught her doing the same thing.
- After we came home, Campbell went to bed and we got back to work. We finally finished (except for the mattresses, sheets and frames to buy, along with hanging the pictures) around 11:30. And we are both exhausted!
