Super Bowl Watch Party! |
Highlights from today:
- The big discussion this morning was Reagan wanting cinna minis from Burger King for breakfast. But since Mom had leftover Pioneer Woman cinnamon rolls, there would be no Burger King stop. The boys and Campbell enjoyed Mom’s rolls but Reagan opted for pretzels and peanut butter
- Graham waltzed right in his class this morning with a big ole smile….and he even had both shoes on. Reagan said that her Sunday school teacher gave everyone nicknames and called her “Ronald Reagan” and she didn’t like that. Her class also came by Campbell’s class on a walk and Mom put Campbell and then the other babies near the window so they could see them
- Lunch was at Nonna’s house and she had everyone Valentine’s candy. Campbell enjoyed putting hers in and out of the bag until she realized that she could take the wrapper off-so Mom took hers away. She wasn’t pleased and grabbed some of Graham’s candy. This led to him sitting on top of her while taking his back
- Graham, Anderson and Reagan walked with Mom over to Beebee and Papaw’s house. We were delivering Papaw’s “Dish of the Month” (Sausage Cornbread this month). Mom had told everyone not to ask for candy since Nonna had already given them some. But of course, Anderson was whispering to Papaw about candy before Mom could even get herself in the door
- On the way home, we stopped by Walmart to pick up our Super Bowl food. Campbell fell asleep on the way home and everyone else took great naps-Mom had to wake Campbell and Graham up.
- Graham was so excited about the Super Bowl-don’t really know what he was expecting so hopefully our Super Bowl party met his expectations. Cheese dip, pizza, breadsticks, brownies and coke all while wearing pajamas-sure did meet and exceed Mom and Dad’s expectations
- After everyone was in bed, Reagan called Mom upstairs because she was hot. Mom helped her change out of her feety pajamas. She wanted to put on shorts but Mom said that it might snow tonight so she can’t wear shorts. Reagan said “I am tired of this snow and don’t want it to snow anymore. They should just call it snow snow snow”-She must thing that tomorrow is the day we don’t want it to snow (Wednesday is the day we need NO SNOW, tomorrow is fine)
