Highlights from today: (click here for pictures)
- Graham slept in this morning so he didn’t have to join Grannymom on her walk by the house-he did still wake up first and drink his milk. Then as usual, the problem arises when Anderson wakes up and drinks his milk-because Graham wants another cup of milk!
- Dad took Campbell and Graham to school this morning. The deal was that if Graham didn’t fuss then he could go with us to the circus-he tried so hard not to fuss but just cried. Later in the day, his teacher said that she must have used a stern voice with him because he just started crying. She told him to come the the changing table “now.” Mom told her that we don’t raise our voices at home! (kidding!)
- After Mom dropped Reagan off, she had to find Anderson to say goodbye-he was already in his class happily playing play doh. Reagan had a wonderful day at school-they made a crown and she was wearing her crown shirt-what more could you ask for.
- Grannymom picked up Reagan and Anderson and they played hard all afternoon. When Mom picked up Graham and Campbell, they headed to Grandpa’s house to play too. So when we all made it home, there were 4 tired kiddos!
- Anxiously awaiting Dad coming home because when he came home, we would soon be heading to the circus. Mom was feeding Campbell supper while we were waiting-english peas. Graham came along and thought he wanted some too. So Mom got him a big bowl of them and he took a big spoonful and put it in his mouth. He must have thought it was something else, because he started gagging and saying “I spit it out? I spit it out?” He probably won’t be eating peas again for a few days!
- Circus Time-we dropped Campbell with Grandpa and headed on our way. We had a quick supper in the car and the kids were quite concerned that we would never make it when we arrived.
- We had great seats-very close to the front. The acts were pretty amazing-elephants, lions and tigers, tightrope, trapeze, hoops for fire, lots more and even a motorcycle on a tightrope…which scared poor Graham to death. That is when he started asking to go home. Thankfully, an act with lots of dogs came out next and then there was a cat act too. Anderson was too exhausted from the day to get too excited but Reagan was all into it!
- We enjoyed most of the show but left a few minutes early-because we didn’t want to have to carry anyone to the car! After picking up Campbell, who had been playing hard at Grannymoms, we were home and in bed quickly. After prayers, Mom had to run back upstairs to find Campbell’s paci and when she finally found it in Reagan and Anderson’s room-they were both sound asleep!
