Graham's Second Day

8:40 p.m. (Click Here for Pictures) We are about to call it a night and Graham will soon be a whole day old. Jason stopped by for a quick visit right after Tara and I finished dinner. A little later the McGuires were by for a visit. Kennedy and Camryn enjoyed holding the baby but they have enjoyed the apple juice even more.

5:20 p.m. (Click Here for More Pictures) It has been a restful afternoon. The nurse came and got Graham this afternoon for his hospital photo shoot. When he came back, we took a few pictures of our own his first real outfit. I think the photos tired him out because he's been resting since.




2:55 p.m. (Click Here for More Pictures) After lunch, Randy Pate stopped by to have prayer with us and then Pawpaw and Beebee Brock stopped by. They brought some flowers for Tara and visited for awhile. Tommye came back and brought an outfit for Graham to wear for his hospital pictures. Chris Babb dropped by and delivered Graham's first piece of Ouachita Baptist apparel. The baby took a little more bottle and has been napping on an off this afternoon.


12:05 p.m. - (Click Here for More Pictures) It's been a busy morning. Dana brought by a baby gift but didn't get to see the baby because he was still in the nursery. The Dennies brought Reagan and Anderson to visit their new little brother. They all got to hold the baby. The kids had brought presents and the baby had presents for them too. Ms. Olevia stopped by to say hello and have prayer with us. And Jaymie stopped in to check in on us as well. Tara gave him a bottle around 11:00 and he took 35mL. Jason brought us Chinese for lunch and Graham is taking another nap.

8:15 a.m. - Wow, what a day yesterday! It was a bit of a long day (especially for Tara) but it was all worth it at 9:43 p.m. Tara was able to deliver Graham naturally and did not have to have a C-section. She started pushing around 9:15 and with the help of Nurse Denise, Dr. Phillips and several others the delivery was smooth.

The Brocks, Jason and Stephanie came back to meet Graham and hold him for a little while. After they left, we stayed in the delivery room until around 1:45 a.m. We were all worn out including the baby. We moved to Room 212, got settled in and then let Mr. Graham head to the nursery for the night.

Tara and I woke up around 6:30 this morning. I ran home real quick for a shower and feed Belle. Dr. Phillips came by around 7:30. He is performing the circumcision this morning so it will be a little bit before we get the baby back. Reagan and Anderson are expected to come visit around 9:00. Tara is getting a shower and is feel really good.
