Day 1 (7/3/07) - click here for pictures: Tom picked James and Virginia, us and then Brad, Dana, Jenna, Lilly and Cash up in the bus and drove us to the airport. We rode the Disney transportaion to the Wilderness Lodge which is modeled after the Yellowstone Lodge which we stayed at in May. The kids did great on the plane and Reagan even asked "our hotel?" as we walked into the Lodge. We met up with Les, Shelley, Josh and Zach in the lobby since they arrived a few minutes after us. The group headed out to Magic Kingdom and watched the parade on Mainstreet. We ate supper at the Terrace Noodel Station and took the kids on the first ride-the Tommorowland Transit Authority. They did good so we pressed on and rode Buzz Lightyear, Snow White and Winnie the Pooh. Reagan and Anderson both sat spellbound on all of the rides! Usually their mouths and eyes were open wide! We quickly toured Minnie Mouse's house and watched the fireworks from the bus stop before heading to bed!
Day 2 (7/4/07) - click here for pictures: The bus took awhile to pick us up this morning and we get caught in a sea of people headed to Animal Kingdom. We watched the Lion King first. Anderson would fall asleep during the shows and Reagan would usually ask for "more" when the shows were over. Reagan met Lilo and Stitch and Pooh early this morning. We would have made a large bet that she would have been terrified of the characters. Instead she loved them! She was not satisfied to just wave at them; we had to wait in the lines so she could "hold" them. When Anderson was near a character, he would just stare at them in confusion! We ate a BBQ lunch in a cool, covered spot and lingered just long enough to keep our seats when it started pouring outside. We stayed for 30 more minutes and had to make our way to the safari ride. All of us (except Anderson-the back of the buggy stayed dry) were drenched when we got there. The Kilamanjaro safari was great even in the rain. After a quick change of clothes at the hotel, we headed to Chef Mickeys for supper. We met Mickey, Minnie, Donald (Reagan's favorite), Goofy and Pluto. Reagan hugged all of the characters until she heard Zach say he didn't want to hug Pluto and then she didn't want to hug anyone else either. Anderson was a little fussy when Mickey showed up though! After supper, we rode the monorail to the Magic Kingdom. We all rode It's a Small World and then played near Mickey's house and Donald's boat until the fireworks started. The kids fell asleep on the boat on the ride back to the hotel.
Day 3 (7/5/07) - click here for pictures: After getting caught in the crowd yesterday, we were the first ones in the park this morning. We saw Pinnochio in line while we were waiting. We all had breakfast in Cinderella's Castle. The kids got magic wands and wishing stars. Cinderalla, Snow White, the Fairy Godmother, Belle and Jasmin all came around to our tables to meet us and take pictures. We each rode the carousel with Reagan and then she rode the Dumbo ride. On the Dumbo ride, she said "I see castle." After the Peter Pan ride, we sat through the Philharmagic. We met Woody and a horse in a parade in Frontierland. The kids hung out while we rode Thunder Mountain and Splash Mountain. We again met Tiger and Pooh and floated around on the Jungle Cruise. After swimming at the hotel and a short rest for Reagan and a nap for Anderson we headed to MGM. Playhouse Disney was cute and the kids seemed to enjoy the Backlot Tour. After Cuban Sandwiches for supper, we rode the Tower of Terror and called it a night.
Day 4 (7/6/07) - click here for pictures: We started early at Epcot and were the first ones on the Nemo ride. Then we hoped on the Living with the Land tour and even saw Mickey Mouse shaped pumpkins. We rode Soarin' while Reagan colored and Anderson drank his milk. Of course, Reagan loved the Coke store, especially all of the samples. After jumping in the single rider line for Test Track, we were through the line before the kids even missed us. We watched Elllen's Energy Adventure and made it back to the hotel just before it stormed. As soon as it slacked of, we headed to the Ohana Luau. The kids limboed and shook maraccas around the dining room. A short monorail ride later, we were at the Magic Kingdom. We circled the park on the train and did a little bit of souveneir shopping. Reagan enjoyed the Monster's Inc. show. We saw the Spectro Magic parade while Reagan yelled and waved at all of the characters that passed us by. On the boat ride to the hotel, we saw the boat parade one last time.
Day 5 (7/7/07) - click here for pictures: On our last full day, we started at MGM. We saw the Little Mermaid show after Robby and Brad rode the Great Movie Ride. Zach and Anderson waited outside as we rode the Rockin Roller Coaster! Reagan enjoyed playing on a playground as Robby and Anderson were in line to meet the Power Rangers and to save Josh and Zach a spot in line. We had pizza for lunch and watch the Muppet's 3D show. On our way out of the park, we met JoJo, Goliath and the Little Einsteins. After packing up, we rode to Epcot for supper in Germany. The kids enjoyed the show and the accordian played that walked around. We walked around all of the countries after supper and rode Spaceship Earth in the Epcot ball. Since it was our last night, we took the long way back to the hotel-monorail, steamboat and boat.
Day 6 (7/8/07) - click here for pictures: We had to wake up early to get out luggage downstairs and check in for our flight. The kids get dressed in the lobby and then we headed to the airport. After settling in at the airport, we boarded our flight and headed home. Tom picked us up and Reagan and Anderson were napping before the bags were even unpacked. It was a great trip-but we are exhausted!
