We slept in late before packing up for our road trip home. We
stopped by Stockyards City but they were not operating due to the Labor
Day holiday and then we made one more final stop at Bricktown for a
final stroll.
We got on the road around 11:00, stopped in Alma for a bite to eat, and
made it to Little Rock around 4:00.

We started the morning with breakfast buffet at our hotel. We then took
a walk around the hotel and grounds for a few pictures. Packed up
and headed on the road. We opted for the scenic route to Oklahoma City
along Route 66.
We passed through towns such as Sapulpa, Chandler, Depew, Arcadia (where we made a quick stop at the Round Barn for pictures and a quick tour). Made our way through Edmond and onto Oklahoma City where our first stop was the National Cowboy Museum. Toured the facilities and then stopped by the State Capitol and Governor's Mansion for pictures.
Next, we walked the grounds of the Oklahoma City National Memorial, site of the Murrah Building 1996 bombing. Then we stopped by the Myriad Botanical Gardens and then a quick loop through Bricktown before heading to the hotel.
Checked in and rested a bit before taking a quick dip in the pool.
We had a good bbq dinner at the Bricktown brewery and then took a ride on the Water Taxi through Bricktown before calling it a night.
